How Much Does Rehab Cost?

Do you know someone who is suffering from an addiction problem? On the other hand, perhaps maybe you are the one who needs help. In either case, there are options for low-cost rehab through private clinics and community-based organisations. There is also free help available from the NHS. When you call us at UK-Rehab, we will be more than happy to discuss all of your options with you.

The availability of low-cost rehab is not limited to just one or two types of addictions. Rehab services are available for all of the following:

  • alcohol abuse and addiction
  • illicit drugs like marijuana and heroin
  • prescription drugs and OTC medications
  • so-called ’legal highs’
  • behavioural addictions like gambling and sex.

The truth is that you do not have to continue living under the control of addictive behaviour. There is help available regardless of what your addiction entails or how long you been involved with it. To get started, all you need do is contact UK-Rehab. One of our trained counsellors will get you going toward that road to recovery.

Treatment Options

The treatment options available to you will depend largely on the type of addiction you are dealing with and how serious that addiction is. We cannot include all of the options available for every sort of addiction in this space, but we can look at two examples just to help you understand how it works. Let us examine alcoholism and heroin addiction.

Alcoholism can be treated on either an outpatient or an inpatient basis. Programmes offered by the NHS and community-based organisations work on the outpatient model. Your treatment will consist of visiting the treatment site on a regularly scheduled basis, where you’ll receive counselling services and, when appropriate, medications to help reduce alcohol cravings or dissuade you from drinking through very unpleasant side effects.

Extreme cases of alcoholism that are not treatable via the outpatient model are usually referred to inpatient treatment at a residential clinic. This type of treatment consists of a 4 to 12 week stay at a residential facility, where you will receive concentrated and focused care.

A heroin addiction is subject to the same two options. However, outpatient treatment for heroin is rarely successful. The problem with outpatient treatment is the fact that the NHS now, more often than not, supplies methadone as a substitute drug for heroin in the hope that the addict will eventually detox and recover. Nevertheless, full recovery is the exception rather than the rule.

Residential treatment at a private clinic is a better option for heroin rehab. While in treatment you still might receive methadone, but the therapy services are designed to help you detox and then get you completely off all maintenance medications. This is obviously a better option than remaining hooked on methadone for the rest of your life.

The Cost Issue

We understand that sometimes cost is an issue for private treatment in a residential clinic. However, you will never know if you can afford private treatment if you do not investigate further. That’s why we are here. We are an independent referral and counselling service working with private clinics all across the UK. Moreover, as far as low-cost rehab is concerned, many of our clinics offer very affordable programmes.

Prices can range anywhere from a few hundred pounds per week, for the most basic of residential programmes, up to several thousand pounds for treatment at an exclusive luxury clinic. You will obviously not be looking at luxury clinics if you are in need of low-cost rehab; we only mention them to illustrate the point that prices cover the entire spectrum of budgets.

We sincerely hope you understand that cost should never deter you from getting the treatment you need. There are so many options open to you that it would be a shame to see you continue living a life of addiction rather than letting us help you find a low-cost treatment programme you can afford.

Our Promise to You

UK-Rehab wants you to know that all of our services are both confidential and free. We do not do this out of a desire to make a lot of money off our clients. We do this because we want you to get well. That said, we promise to do everything we can to help you find appropriate care at an affordable price. When you call, we will:

  • listen to what you have to say
  • provide an honest assessment of your circumstances
  • offer you a list of all available treatment options
  • discuss the cost of each of those treatment options with you
  • give you the opportunity to ask any questions you might have
  • recommend what appears to be the best course of action
  • help you make admission arrangements if you so choose.

We believe the best way we can help you is to make sure you receive treatment that is right for you and your circumstances. We know that no single method of treatment is right for everyone, and neither are every single clinic or organisation offering services. And that’s why we need to speak with you. We need to know where you are at, what type of help you are looking to get, what you hope to achieve and how much you can afford. Then we can help you figure out what is best for you.

Are you visiting our website on behalf of someone else? If so, everything you have read certainly applies to your situation as well. We can help you figure out the best treatment options for your loved one in the event he or she makes the decision to seek treatment. Having information handy before conducting an intervention is wise, by the way. Being informed means you will be ready to spring into action in the event your intervention was successful.

UK-Rehab exists solely for the purpose of helping addicts and their families find the help they need to break the bonds of addiction. If you are ready to get that help, please take the next step by picking up the phone and calling us. We are ready and waiting to assist you in any way we can.
