DRUGS: some facts!

There is no doubt that the use and abuse of drugs are a major contributary factor in the suffering and misery felt by thousands of individuals, families and society as a whole.
 
Although there is help available to those who seek to do something about their drug taking, the reality is,very few are fortunate enough to be offered the opportunity to attend ’drug rehab’ where they are given a real chance to address their problems.

The sad fact is most people are either directly affected by, or knows of someone who is affected by drug/alcohol use, abuse or addiction.

An understanding of what the different drugs are, and the consequences of their use, can be of assistance in some instances. There are many factors that need to be taken into account when considering the effects of drugs on an individual - not all drugs affect all people in the exact same way.
