The Eating Disorder Service for Adults (EDSA) is a specialist service embedded within the adult community and mental health teams covering Somerset. Our main role is to provide specialist support in the community to service users with an eating disorder. In order to access our service your GP will need to refer you to the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). You will be allocated a Care Coordinator who will liaise with one of the Eating Disorder Locality Leads (EDLL), who will offer you an initial assessment. Unfortunately we cannot take referrals from any other source, including self referrals and GPÍs directly.
