Sunderland YMCA is a leading children and young peopleÍs charity. We work in Sunderland and County Durham, supporting some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and adults. No child, young person or adult should have to face lifeÍs difficulties alone and we support a wide range of people some of whom may be experiencing extremely traumatic challenges such as homelessness, domestic violence, abuse, poverty, unemployment or mental health problems. We have been operating for the past 17 years and have worked with thousands of children, young people and adults helping them to become happy, fulfilled adults who can belong, contribute and thrive in society.
