Aspire, our Young Persons Centre in Great Yarmouth, opened in partnership with Orwell Housing Association, Norfolk County Council and Great Yarmouth Borough Council. It represents a high demand and strategically important service for Great Yarmouth. Formerly known as the ïBretts Warehouse, this Grade 2 listed building contains 17 units of accommodation for single, young homeless people aged 16-25. Our staff team works closely with all the young people at Aspire helping them to develop and bounce back from the problems that led to them becoming homeless. Each of our residents is allocated a key worker to support them on the path to becoming a confident young adult. The central location of Aspire in Great Yarmouth makes it a good base for the young people to get out and about in the community, and have easy access to education, training and a social life. These are all important elements in helping them to become more independent and preparing them to move on to the next stage of their life. We are always looking to develop opportunities for other agencies to use the facilities at Aspire. Likewise, we are receptive to ideas from others who feel they could provide a service to young people in Great Yarmouth. If you would like to explore this further please get in touch using the contact details on this page.
